FunctionSIM announces the release of ecDIFF v2.1 from ExpertControl GmbH and National Instruments
ecDIFF v2.1, part of the GDUI Toolkit from National Instruments, now brings advanced features for graphically differencing and merging Matlab/Simulink (tm) models.
If you are still checking ASCII .mdl files by hand, use ecDIFF to speed up your model development process.
Enhancements to ecDIFF 2.1 include:
- Speed improvements when opening MATLAB/Simulink from ecDIFF
- Header parameters are scanned and have their own Filter Settings
- Option to diff an entire model or only a
subsystem
- Library and model links are opened, traced and diffed

StateFlow models may be diffed
- User-defined settings for differencing colors and highlighting (blinking)
- MATLAB Java Desktop can be opened in ecDIFF
